Patricia Gestoso's Biography

Dr. Patricia Gestoso is a digital scientific services leader and diversity and inclusion strategy consultant. She is a popular speaker on several topics surrounding gender, ethics and inclusivity in technology.

Through her career as global head of scientific support, training, and services, Patricia has worked with Fortune 500 Life Sciences and Materials companies worldwide to build, deliver, and maintain science-based virtual solutions. As head of customer operations, she has successfully led the acquisition integration of customer support tools and processes for small and large software businesses.

She has spearheaded numerous diversity and inclusion initiatives in tech. She is the co-founder of the Tech Inclusion Partnership, a team of diversity and inclusion thought leaders from large UK employers in the digital space that share best practices building a diverse and inclusive global workforce.

She is the Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity lead advisor at We and AI, a British NGO with the mission of increasing public awareness of artificial intelligence, where she has guided the justice and healthcare working groups delivering on the Race and AI toolkit. She has also created the Ethics and Inclusion Framework©, a tool to help designers to identify, prevent, mitigate, and account for the actual and potential negative impact of the services and products they create.

Patricia is the winner of the 2020 Women in Tech Changemakers award and has been featured on ComputerWeekly.com and the Kaspersky Women in Tech 2021 Report.

Patricia is a member of the BIOVIA Technology Council, which drives the coordination and adoption of technologies across the BIOVIA digital portfolio. She’s also a member of the Dassault Systèmes Customer Support Committee that guides the development and maintenance of the company’s online customer support systems.

Patricia is a cultural broker with experience living in 6 countries. She is known for bringing a unique perspective and anticipate technology and sustainability trends. She advises companies, NGOs, and governmental organizations on the topics of technology, science, diversity and inclusion, data analytics, and customer experience. She is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
