Benedict Evans's Biography

Benedict Evans is one of the world’s most respected technology analysts, known for his clear-eyed insights into the forces shaping the digital economy. With more than two decades of experience analysing mobile, media and technology, he helps organisations understand what matters in a fast-moving landscape, and what it means for strategy, growth and competitive advantage. Through his keynote presentations, Evans explains the technologies transforming business and society, helping leaders navigate rapid innovation and uncertainty.

Evans previously spent several years as a partner at Andreessen Horowitz, one of Silicon Valley’s most influential venture capital firms. Earlier in his career, he worked in equity research, strategy consulting and business development roles at organisations including Orange and NBCUniversal, building a deep understanding of how technology platforms evolve and reshape markets.
