Joe Jordan's Biography

Joe Jordan is an engaging and respected speaker and corporate trainer. He works with clients from the perspective that lasting changes in behavior only happen when people change the way they think.

Joe provides clients with candid insights, practical strategies, and relevant examples that enable participants to quickly apply and use what they learn. At all organizational levels and in both corporate and not-for-profit environments, people appreciate his sense of humor, candor, and breadth of expertise.

Joe Jordan has worked as the Director of Service Sales Training at Dell, Performance Consultant for Perot Systems, Director of Business Development at Action Management Associates, EVP of Business Development at Right Management Associates, and multiple other roles during 15 years in the staffing industry including Region Director for a $30 million, 17-office region.

Joe is equally comfortable presenting a keynote, leading an executive development program, energizing a sales team with content–not hype, and helping individual contributors solve business problems.

While working in a diverse group of organizations and industries in both corporate and non-profit environments, he has purposefully integrated business development and sales roles with corporate training and operations positions. This allows him to bring clients a unique blend of strengths in designing and implementing initiatives that develop leaders, grow revenue, enhance critical thinking, and improve individual and collective performance. Joe has had leadership roles in corporate business growth, new territory sales, region growth and business mix, team and talent optimization, and operational/process improvement. Joe is also the author of “Sharpen Your Life” (2016), which he discusses in a recent interview here

Joe has a level of energy that keeps him going when most around him are ready to sit one out. He is passionate about preparing emerging leaders to assume greater roles of responsibilityOutside of work, he enjoys running, exercise, and eating healthy, as well as traveling with his wife. The creativity of photography also captivates him, especially close-up nature photos.
