Bernhard Kerres's Biography

Bernhard Kerres uniquely combines emotional intelligence with business skills. He has ten years of international C-level experience in large family firms and in non-profit organisations. He has worked as CEO, CFO and COO in various family owned companies often leading them through transitions. Some of the companies where wholly family owned, others were partly stock market listed.

Bernhard is the currently the Founder and CEO of HELLO STAGE – the new platform for the classical music industry. HELLO STAGE connects musicians, their managers and promoters. In HELLO STAGE Bernhard contributes his network and experience in classical music, his C-level management career and his work in high technology industry. Previously, Bernhard was CEO and Artistic Director of the Wiener Konzerthaus, a leading concert hall in Vienna.

Bernhard is President of Wien Modern, the festival for contemporary music. He has also been a non-executive director in a number of international companies and organisations. With his background as an opera singer, he is deeply interested in leadership and performance and speaks regularly on music and management.
Prior to taking on executive responsibilities, Bernhard was a strategy consultant for Booz & Co. for five years working in telecoms, media and technology.
