Hani Sabra's Biography

Hani Sabra is a political risk analyst with more than 20 years of professional experience focused on the Middle East.

Currently Hani is Director of Strategy for Gemic, a global growth strategy firm. With a background rooted in strategic planning and a keen understanding of business dynamics, Hani plays a pivotal role in shaping Gemic’s strategic initiatives. Leveraging a robust skill set in market analysis, trend forecasting, and competitive intelligence, Sabra guides the company toward innovative and effective strategies that drive growth and market presence.

Hani believes that a sophisticated knowledge of politics, history, and culture is necessary to understanding and projecting future trends. He applied that philosophy during his 10-year tenure at Eurasia Group and at his own boutique practice, Alef Advisory, since he established it in 2017.

Hani graduated from the American University in Cairo and has lived in Toronto, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Cairo, and New York.
