Tim Shipman, is a political journalist and keynote speaker known for his deep expertise in political analysis and British government operations. He’s a chief political commentator at The Sunday Times since 2014 after serving eight years as political editor. He holds a BA Hons in History from the University of Cambridge obtained in 1996. His journalistic journey began after completing his education and swiftly moving into the field of political reporting. He has been a national newspaper journalist since 1997 and in sixteen years of writing about politics, he has also reported from Westminster for the Daily Mail and the Sunday Express. Over his career, Tim was Washington’s correspondent for the Sunday Telegraph during Barack Obama’s historic first election campaign. He has covered four general elections, three presidential elections, two wars and more leadership contests than he can count.
