Moises Naim, a distinguished global affairs expert and prolific author who has made significant contributions to understanding power dynamics and international relations. His earlier book, “Illicit: How Smugglers, Traffickers, and Copycats are Hijacking the Global Economy” released in 2005, examines the dark underbelly of the global economy, exploring the impacts of illegal trade and corruption. The book received widespread acclaim for its thorough research and compelling narrative.

In 2011, Naím took the world by storm with the launch of Efecto Naím, a groundbreaking weekly television program in Latin America. This innovative show uses visually-striking videos, graphics, and interviews with world leaders to explore surprising trends shaping the globe.

Naím is a sought-after advisor, columnist and “Global Observer” of numerous international publications.
