Jean Pisani-Ferry Keynote Speaker

Jean Pisani-Ferry is a French economic expert and policy advisor.

His career to date has been within economic policy and research and he has held a number of prominent advisory positions including to the Director-General of the European Commission and to the French Minister of Finance. Between 2002 and 2004, he was the Senior Advisor to the Director of the French Treasury.

Alongside his role, he teaches at a range of universities and is currently a Professor of Economics at The Paris Institute of Political Studies. From 2006 to 2007, he was the President of the French Economic Association. Today he is a Director of European economic think tank, Breugel.

Jean has written myriad articles for media outlets across the world and books, including ‘The Euro Crisis and Its Aftermath’.
