We are proud to co-represent* Mr. António Costa, one of Europe’s most experienced and distinguished heads of government and prominent political leaders. Mr. Costa served as Prime Minister of Portugal from 2015-2024.

During this time, he navigated a range of national and international challenges including the global pandemic, the stock market crash and the wildfires of 2020. Mr. Costa and his government helped Portugal emerge from a period of ‘austerity’ and improved the standard of living for its citizens.

A committed European, Mr. Costa is a skilled negotiator and a known bridge-builder, a quality much needed as Europe faces increasing issues that could divide and damage European Unity.

A lawyer by background, Mr. Costa has decades of experiences as a public servant, a political leader and an innovative problem solver. Before becoming Prime Minister in 2014, he was the Mayor of Lisbon, where he introduced initiatives to help the city prosper after the global financial crisis.
