Dr. Mariana Mazzucato is one of the leading economists of our day. As a key advisor to the European Commission, she played a critical role in shaping the EU’s Green Deal and industrial strategy, advocating for mission-orientated policies to drive sustainable growth. She worked closely with the United Nations to rethink economic development and led WHO’s Council on the Economics of Health for All emphasising the need for public investment in health systems. She has collaborated with Governments in Brazil and South Africa to design innovation-driven policies for inclusive economic growth.
Mariana has also worked with many Fortune 500 firms globally to help them be more purpose-driven and to elevate their strategy and innovation thinking.
