International Women's Day
Last week saw the inauguration of the first female Vice President of the United States – a momentous day for women and girls across the world and a sure sign of how far we’ve come in the fight for gender equality. That said, there is work still to be done.
International Women’s Day on the 8th March marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity around the world. As we celebrate the diverse social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women on this day, we must continue to empower women and challenge gender bias all year round. Businesses are increasingly understanding the value and benefits that a diverse workforce can bring. All around the world, we should be proactively seeking to break down gender barriers and highlighting the importance of gender equality.
