  • Former Press Secretary to Prime Minister Theresa May
  • Former Special Adviser to the Secretary of State for Health
  • Uniquely placed to give an insight into the inner workings of Westminster

Paul Harrison's Biography

Paul Harrison was the Downing Street Press Secretary for two years under Prime Minister Theresa May until she left office. As her spokesman during Brexit negotiations, and at a time of unprecedented turmoil inside and outside Parliament, Paul has a unique perspective on the choices now facing both the government and the country.

Paul visited 27 countries with the Prime Minister, meeting global leaders, providing advice and taking questions from the media on behalf of the Government.

Paul was for the four previous years Special Adviser to the Secretary of State for Health — covering then-record investment in the NHS, junior doctors’ strikes and the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. He worked on two general election campaigns, one rather more successful than the other…

Paul Harrison is ideally placed to offer insight on the inner workings of the UK Government, as well as to give advice and set out his experience of how businesses interact with government — and what they can do better. He can share witty and fascinating anecdotes, whilst being able to give tangible recommendations and thoughts that will improve business performance.
