Marina Bill's Biography
Marina Bill is an expert in the Advanced Industries and Power sector, particularly in Robotics and Automation.
Marina was elected in June 2022 as President of the International Federation of Robotics (IFR), the world’s authority on robotics industry statistics.
According to Marina, “the unprecedented pace of change we’re experiencing in global business provides a historic opportunity to shape industry for the next generation. Robotics and automation create flexible, sustainable, and efficient solutions for businesses of all sizes that minimise cost, promote resilience and benefit society.”
Since 1997, Marina has been with ABB, a Swedish-Swiss technology company that creates sustainable solutions in electrification and automation. Marina currently holds the role of Global Head of Marketing and Sales Robotics, where she leads the P&L growth of 22 countries. ABB operates in over 100 locations in 53 countries.
With over 25 years of experience, Marina specialises in growth leadership and global P&L, she has developed successful high performing teams and international go-to-market programmes.
As president of the European AI, Data & Robotics Partnership (ADRA), Marina also leads the team in researching, developing, and deploying value driven trustworthy AI, Data and Robotics based on fundamental European rights and principles.
With robotics shaping the future of work, Marina hopes to see more diversification in the industry where its workforce parallels real society. With less than 10% of women in robotics, she advocates for more women to be a part of it.
Marina Bill has a Masters’ degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
