Kiron Skinner is a scholar, author, and foreign policy strategist with a rich history in government service, academia, and international affairs. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Skinner received her bachelor’s degree from Spelman College before pursuing further studies at Harvard University, where she received her master’s degree and PhD in political science and international relations. In government, Kiron Skinner served as Director of Policy Planning at the U.S. Department of State during the Trump administration.
