Jonny Huntington's Biography
Jonny Huntington is a leading motivational speaker, having survived a brain bleed that caused left-sided paralysis from the neck down. He embraces his disability, using it to fuel and inspire his passions, always striving to explore life outside of the comfort zone and develop self-belief.
In 2024, Jonny will be taking this mindset to the next level and venturing outside his comfort zone in the most true and physical sense.
In November 2024, Jonny will embark on a unique and arduous journey to the South Pole from the continental shelf of Antarctica, a distance of over 900 km. He will do so alone, with no support or assistance, and in doing so, he will become the first ever disabled person to solo the South Pole.
Fewer than 50 people in history have soloed the South Pole. This will be a world first for a disabled explorer. In order to do this, Jonny has drawn on his professional experience creating performance optimization in organizations to do the same for his own expedition.
Drawing from his personal experience with disability, as a speaker Jonny Huntington is an authentic advocate for courageously exploring outside of the comfort zone, not just for himself, but for others too, in all of life’s circumstances. Jonny strongly believes in putting self-limiting beliefs and negative mindsets to the test, as only then can you truly know what you are capable of.
