Jana Revedin's Biography
Jana Revedin, born in Constance, Germany, is a prominent architect, theorist, and writer. Renowned for her vast contributions to the realm of architectural and urban sciences, she is a distinguished voice on sustainable architecture and urban design. Jana has etched her expertise in academia and practice, often speaking about the role of public space, the significance of participatory design, and the ethos of the early German reform movement of the Bauhaus.
Jana’s academic endeavors took flight at institutions such as Belgrano University Buenos Aires, Princeton School of Architecture, and Milan Polytechnic University. Her association with IUAV Venice, especially as an assistant to the esteemed Aldo Rossi, deepened her insights into public spaces and their democratic implications. Further, she holds the title of Full Professor at the École spéciale d’architecture in Paris.
