Eugene Sadler-Smith's Biography

Eugene Sadler-Smith, is a distinguished Professor of Organizational Behaviour at Surrey Business School at the University of Surrey. He is widely recognized for his pioneering research on intuition in business and hubris in leadership, making him one of the foremost authorities in these fields. Eugene is known for bringing intellectual rigor, insight, and interactivity to his speaking and consulting activities where he engages and enlightens audiences.

He is the author of: Intuition in Business (Oxford University Press), Trust Your Gut (Pearson), The Intuitive Mind (John Wiley, shortlisted for the CMI Management Book of the Year Award), Inside Intuition(Routledge), The Hubris Hazard and How to Avoid It (Routledge), Hubristic Leadership (Sage) and Human Resource Development (Sage).  His research has featured on BBC Radio 4, Sky TV, Forbes Magazine, and other media outlets.

Eugene is recognised widely both by his peers and in terms of citation metrics as one of the world’s leading researchers on intuition in business and hubris in leadership.
