The team at Chartwell Speakers is looking forward to supporting you with sourcing expert speakers for your events in 2025. We have over a 100 years of experience as speaker agents so no brief is too challenging or complicated for us to try and find an engagement.
I thought it might be helpful to give a brief overview of the backgrounds of our international agents who will be working with you this year.

Raleigh Addington
Managing Director, London
Raleigh has been a speaker agent for over 12 years. He started as by handling and promoting the speaking engagements for injured military veterans, including his own brother Captain Ed Addington. In 2014, he relocated to Hong Kong to start Chartwell’s APAC office and during this time he worked with a range of financial services firms to source experts to speak at their regional conferences. Raleigh has been a Managing Director at Chartwell since 2016. He is now based in London and manages the corporate speaking engagements for a range of high profile economists, politicians, technology entrepreneurs and academics.

Toby Mossop
Managing Director, London
Toby joined Chartwell 7 years ago. He previously spent 6 years as a British Army officer, serving with 1st The Queens Dragoon Guards in Germany, Afghanistan, Kenya, Canada and Jordan. On leaving the Army, Toby became Head of Operations at a leading UK tech startup, before joining Chartwell in 2018. Toby now manages a range of speakers, with particular focus on geopolitics, security, technology and economics.

Karen O’Donnell
Managing Director Europe, Dublin
Karen joined Chartwell 6 years ago and has worked with keynote speakers and leading global companies for many years both in Ireland where she is based but also in Brussels where she lived previously. As Managing Director of Leigh Bureau’s EMEA office and as Director of Design and Development and Delivery at Management Centre Europe, she has a depth and breadth of experience, knowledge and skills in this area. During this time, she has worked with Nobel Laureates, Heads of State, top academics, CEOs, entrepreneurs and with many other leading authors, journalists and thought leaders in a wide range of sectors and across every topic and event format possible. She enjoys working on tough briefs and making sure that she advises the best speaker choice for each event and each customer.

Vanessa Mittman
Managing Director, Asia Pacific
Vanessa joined Chartwell a year ago and has already booked a large number of speakers in the APAC region. Prior to joining Chartwell Vanessa ran the Singapore Speakers Bureau. She has over two decades of experience in the industry and has dedicated much of her career to helping clients in APAC find the perfect speaker for their events.

Scott Lincoln
Managing Agent, London
Scott joined Chartwell in 2022 but has been in the industry for a number of years having cut his teeth at another speaker agency in London. Before this, he held senior Account Management positions at large multinational tech companies helping to bring on board and retain large brands to the business. With a keen interest in current affairs, Scott enjoys working on briefs with politicians, economists, business leaders, sports personalities and everything in between.

Natasha Lyons
Managing Agent, London
Natasha has been part of the Chartwell team for over 5 years, transitioning from the Operations Team to the role of Managing Agent in 2023. Prior to joining Chartwell, Natasha held a number of senior business development roles in which she drew on her strength in relationship building to deliver well-tailored solutions by fully understanding the needs of her clients; a consultative approach she continues to embrace today in her role as Managing Agent. Natasha has a keen interest in a number of subject areas including business, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

James Birch
Chairman, London
James spent 21 years at Goldman Sachs working in London, New York, Mumbai and Hong Kong. In addition to being a Managing Director in the Equities division, he organised a number of Goldman Sachs’s highest profile conferences. James founded Chartwell in 2010 after failing to find a European based speaker agency capable of sourcing suitable speakers for his conferences. Outside of Chartwell, James serves on the board of Peters, Fraser & Dunlop, London’s oldest literary agency and is a trustee of several charities.
